About Me

I was 13 years old when I sat on my grandfather’s lap, a moment that would shape my life forever. He looked at me, terminally ill, and said:

"I believe you’re going to make sure the family business continues to exist."

Mission downloaded. That moment filled me with pride and an immense sense of ambition, but also a deep sense of pressure. It wasn’t until much later that I began to interpret his words differently. Over time, I realized that my path didn’t need to look like my parents’ roles in the family business. While my father and mother were deeply active in the operations, I communicated early on that I wasn’t aspiring to step directly into one of their roles.

This choice created a new dynamic for us. One where we could strategize together on how to ensure the company’s legacy while carving out a structure that allows the business to thrive without their current roles. Today, I support my father’s transition from being CEO across the businesses to stepping into the role of President of the Board of Directors. It’s a profound shift for him, for me, and for our family business. This journey has challenged us to redefine what leadership and legacy look like across generations.

My Professional Journey

As a third-generation family business member, the greatest challenge I’ve faced is learning to say no. Having acquired the skills, degrees, and experience to step into a leadership role, there were always assumptions and expectations from others - and myself - that I would naturally move in that direction.

The pressure intensified during the pandemic, an extremely challenging time for our family business in tourism. Watching my parents navigate uncertainty and struggle was incredibly difficult, and the pull to step in operationally was strong. Yet, there was always a voice inside me that said, 'This isn’t your role'.

Instead, I charted my own path. Early in my career, I joined a tech company, where I worked my way up to from trainee to Managing Director, leading a sales team. Stepping into that leadership role at such a young age taught me the value of courage, collaboration, and coaching.

But what I’m equally proud of is knowing when to step away. Over time, I discovered that the corporate environment and the role I was in no longer aligned with my values. Despite the financial stability and societal recognition that came with the position, I made the bold decision to leave and focus on creating a life and career in alignment with my deeper purpose.

A Wake-Up Call

Simultaneously, in my late 20s, I reached a breaking point. Years of ignoring my body’s needs, working long hours, and pushing myself to achieve led to chronic headaches and daily reliance on medication just to get through the day. Having undergone surgery for scoliosis at age 17, I had spent the next decade pretending it didn’t affect me, pushing my limits in every way.

During the pandemic, I sought a second opinion from a scoliosis specialist, hoping surgery could resolve my chronic pain. His words were a wake-up call:

“Have you done everything possible, conventionally, to eliminate these headaches? Surgery might not be the solution.”

For the first time, I truly listened. His words set me on a journey of healing: physically, mentally, and emotionally. That transformed not only my health, but also my perspective on life and work.

My Coaching Philosophy

This experience, combined with influences from Gabor Maté, Eckhart Tolle, and systemic work expert Elmer Hendrix, has shaped my coaching philosophy. In 2023, I deepened this work by joining Eckhart Tolle’s Teacher of Presence course, attending a live retreat in Canada with him and his partner, Kim Eng, before completing a five-month program in November 2023.

I believe that success in life, business, and family systems should not come at the expense of well-being. It’s about finding alignment between your body, mind, and spirit. Creating space for conscious, intentional choices which is so challenging in this fast paced society. My work is about helping clients uncover unconscious patterns and loyalties, transform them into conscious decisions, and navigate transitions in a way that eliminates suffering and creates clarity.

And now back to you...

You’ve inherited more than just a family business. You’ve inherited a legacy, a reputation, and often a quiet expectation to continue the path that was laid out before you.

You might find yourself juggling many roles at once: daughter or son, sibling, shareholder, spouse, business leader… all while trying to understand what you actually want.

You care deeply about your family and the business. And still, there’s a part of you wondering: Is there space for me to do it differently? Or even, who am I outside of the business?

Whether you’re active in the company or trying to find your place alongside it, you’re not alone. This space is here for you. A space where you don’t have to have all the answers. Where we slow down together, explore what’s true for you, and reconnect to a version of success that feels aligned, not just expected.

I don’t have a specific outcome in sight for you, whether you stay in or step out of the family business. For me, success is about empowering you to make conscious, authentic decisions that feel right for you. It’s about helping you navigate your journey with greater clarity and intention, eliminating unnecessary suffering, and moving through transitions in a way that honors both your individuality and your legacy.

If this feels like your story too, let’s have a conversation. Book a 45-minute discovery call: no strings, just space to explore what’s true for you.
